Quadsat and mmt have partnered to provide Quadsat’s electromagnetic emulation services. This news follows the recent launch of Quadsat's global Service Partner Network, designed to give customers worldwide cost-effective and prompt access to Quadsat services.

The services range from the characterization of teleport and user terminal antennas, over full satellite network testing to calibration of a wide range of RF measurement devices in the civil and defense domains.

mmt specializes in high frequency technology and wireless measurement, especially for wireless communication and antenna technology. With a wide range of products and services, it provides its customers with innovative solutions across a range of technical fields. The new partnership with Quadsat will enable it to deliver Quadsat’s electromagnetic emulation services to its customers providing in-situ measurement and testing of RF and antenna technology.

The Quadsat system optimizes satellite networks and RF systems anywhere, anytime, using a drone-based system. Using software defined radio (SDR), it provides efficient and accurate testing and calibration of any radio magnetic devices in-situ.

Torsten Meffert, CEO, mmt, commented: “As a specialist in the field of high frequency and microwave systems, we’re thrilled to form this partnership with Quadsat to deliver its SDR system for measurement and calibration. The partnership will enable mmt to deliver a broader range of efficient measurement services to customers to better meet their individual needs.”

Kim Gram, Head of Global Business Development, Quadsat, added, “This exciting new partnership with mmt adds significant insight into electromagnetic applied science to the Quadsat Partner Community through mmt’s long history at the highest scientific level. This, combined with deep insights as a market leader in high frequency and microwave technology, will enable delivery of Quadsat services across its market domain. We’re looking forward to working closely with mmt, and to supporting civil and defense organizations to optimize their satellite, high frequency and microwave systems.”

Quadsat and mmt will be at Space Tech Expo in Bremen from 19 – 21, November.
