Wideband Power Amplifier, RWP25020-50

RFHIC’s RWP25020-50 is a gallium-nitride on silicon carbide (GaN-on-SiC), S-Band, wideband amplifier suited for broadcasting and communication system applications. Covering from 2000 to 3000 MHz, the RWP25020-50 yields a small signal gain of 25 dB with 44 dBm at P3dB peak. The RWP25020-50 is designed using RFHIC’s GaN-on-SiC on silicon carbide high-electron-mobility transistors (HEMT), providing high breakdown voltage, efficiency, and lower thermal dissipation. The new K4200 dielectric material for wire-bondable single-layer capacitors for high performance microwave circuits has a X7R temperature coefficient and wide operating range from -55°C to 125°C. The new wire-bondable capacitor lineup ranges from capacitances less than 0.1 pF up to 10 nF, footprints from 0.2 x 0.2 mm (8 x 8 mils) to 2 x 2 mm (80 x 80 mils) and thicknesses from 0.1 mm (4 mils) to 0.3 mm (12 mils).
