IMST GmbH contributed to the Gigabit Innovation Track (GINT) project of Deutsche Bahn (DB), O2 Telefónica, Ericsson and Vantage Towers.

The aim of this project is to carry out EMF (electromagnetic field) measurements together with waveLAB Ruhr. 

The results and findings will be used to verify compliance with the personal protection limits of the new 5G system and to investigate in more detail the impact of different system parameters on the EMF measurement results.

A special highlight was the visit of Reinhard Meyer - Minister for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Employment in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The minister was informed about the current status of the project and expressed his appreciation for this pioneering project.
