Ohmite Manufacturing Co. announced that it has acquired both the Ultronix Precision Wirewound Resistor and Angstrohm Rheostat Businesses of Vishay Intertechnology Inc. Ultronix is a Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of precision wirewound resistors. Angstrohm, based in Hagerstown, MD, is a manufacturer of wirewound rheostats. It is anticipated that the acquisitions will be completed by the end of January 2007.
