Akoustis Technologies, Inc., an integrated device manufacturer of patented bulk acoustic wave high-band RF filters for mobile and other wireless applications, announced that it has joined the Wi-Fi NOW industry association as an Official RF Filter Partner, alongside major thought leaders including Cisco, Eero, Linksys, Intel, Netgear and many more.
Wi-Fi NOW was founded in 2015 as a media, event, training and advisory organization dedicated to serving the global Wi-Fi industry. Since then, Wi-Fi NOW has quickly grown to support hundreds of organizations within the broad Wi-Fi ecosystem, including industry-leading vendors and service providers. The mission of Wi-Fi NOW is to advocate for the expanded global adoption of Wi-Fi, to showcase the latest advances in Wi-Fi technology, and support new, emerging business opportunities throughout the Wi-Fi ecosystem.
Today Wi-Fi NOW supports more than 50 industry-leading partners, conducts multiple in-person Wi-Fi World Congress events every year, and supports the broader Wi-Fi industry with weekly thought-leadership information services, including online events and news. Wi-Fi NOW has become a preferred forum for Wi-Fi industry leadership, cooperation, information sharing and global advocacy.

Akoustis is actively delivering volume production of its Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E tandem filter solutions, shipping multiple 5G small cell XBAW® filter solutions and delivering initial designs of its new 5G mobile filter solutions to multiple customers. To date, Akoustis has received more than 20 customer design wins for its patented XBAW® filter solutions.
