The RFM3202 high spectral density 3U OpenVPX™ microwave transceiver from Mercury Systems supports ultra-wide, ultra-high-bandwidth applications from 0.3 GHz up to 18 GHz, to best meet the needs of smaller, lighter platforms such as UAVs. To maximize spectral density, this compact module enables dual-channel coherent operation, utilizing two up-conversion and down-conversion channels for greater direction finding, including EW, direction-finding, SIGINT and signal measurement applications. The module has 4x greater spectral density than other 3U transceivers on the market today. The RF transceiver offers 2 GHz (per channel) of instantaneous bandwidth (IBW), 2 to 18 GHz tunable RF range and a bypass for the first Nyquist direct digitization downstream. The 3U, SOSA aligned transceiver is built for extreme environments and ease of integration .
The RFM3202 wideband transceiver was built to pair seamlessly with the DCM3220 digital transceiver for a true mixed-signal solution in space constrained environments.
