RFMW announced design and sales support for high performance, mmWave, 5G front end modules from Qorvo. The QPF4010 MMIC mmWave FEM operates from 24.25 to 27.5 GHz with integrated LNA+TR SW+PA. The receive path (LNA+TR SW) is designed to provide 13.5 dB of gain and a typical noise figure of 4.0 dB. The transmit path (PA+SW) provides 17 dB of small signal gain and a saturated output power of 22.5 dBm. Supporting 5G-n258 phased array base stations and terminals, the frequency coverage and operational flexibility allow support of satellite communications, point-to-point data links and 5G repeaters. Average Tx power is 14 dBm with 4 percent typical EVM at 64 QAM, 100 MHz modulated signal. The QPF4010 is offered in a small 4 x 4 mm overmold QFN package, matched to 50 Ω with integrated DC blocking capacitors for simple system integration.
