RFMW announced design and sales support for a high efficiency, high performance transmit/receive front-end module (FEM) from Skyworks Solutions. The SKY66121-11 provides greater than four times range extension versus standalone systems-on-chip, with +30 dBm Pout at 169 to 170 MHz. The device features low power consumption and enables fast switch timing (<1 usec in receive mode; <1.2 usec in transmit mode) which is ideal for multi-protocol arbitration, IoT applications including smart metering, connected home, smart city sensors, and industrial, scientific and medical. Offered in a 4 x 4 mm MCM surface mount technology package.
