RFMW announced design and sales support for a high efficiency power amplifier from Qorvo. The QPA9901 power amplifier targets Band 66 along with Band 1 small-cell wireless infrastructure systems from 2,110 to 2,170 MHz. I/O matched to 50 ohms, the device delivers high efficiency of 32 percent at +28 dBm average output power, while providing excellent DPD linearized ACPR of -48 dBc for signal bandwidths of up to 60 MHz. P3dB is 36 dBm with 36.5 dB of gain. The QPA9901 is housed in a 5 x 5 mm SMT package.
