RFMW announced design and sales support for the CMX994 family of direct conversion receiver IC’s from CML Microcircuits. The CMX994AQ4 direct conversion receiver IC serves zero IF, near-zero IF and low IF receivers. Power consumption is a key factor in many applications and proprietary technology provides the ability to dynamically select power consumption vs. performance modes to optimize operating trade-offs. CMX994AQ4 operating range is 100 to 1,000 MHz with extended range from 50 to 1,218 MHz. Offering the highest integration for an RF receiver function, the chip contains an LNA with digital gain control. High level integration minimizes external components.
