RFMW announced design and sales support for Delta Electronics Manufacturing precision RF adapters. These precision in-series and between-series adapters are color coded to provide a critical visual indicator (color code) that promotes proper mating along with quick identification. Available in 2.92 mm, 2.4 mm, 1.85 mm and 1.0 mm, the interfaces are designed in accordance with IEC standards while the color coding matches the IEEE working group color scheme. For example, model 7934000K001-802-C is a precision 2.92 (male) to 2.92 (female) adapter functional to 40 GHz with a maximum VSWR or 1.25:1. Color coded with yellow bands near each connector interface, precision mating is assured thereby minimizing possible damage to any device under test or expensive high frequency cable assemblies.
