Microwave and mmWave MMIC design house Plextek RFI has renamed itself PRFI Ltd. as of 1 July 2020.

“The new name change will help to avoid confusion, and will enable us to create a stronger brand identity to move forward and develop our business still further,” said Liam Devlin, CEO of PRFI.

Plextek RFI became an independent company in 2015 and shares a site with Plextek Services Ltd. in the village of Great Chesterford, near Cambridge in the U.K. Both firms were originally part of Plextek Ltd. Plextek RFI was formed as the RF Integration Group within Plextek Ltd.

PRFI has achieved recognition as a leader in the design of RFICs, MMICs and microwave and mmWave modules. Its clients include Analog Devices, Huawei, Inmarsat, Qorvo and Samsung.
