RFMW announced design and sales support for a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) front end module (FEM). Minimizing layout area, Qorvo’s QPF4800 integrates a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz power amplifier (PA), regulator, two SP2T switches, diplexer and 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bypassable low noise amplifiers. Optimizing the PAs for 5 V supplies conserves DC power consumption while maintaining the highest linear RF output power and leading edge throughput. Applications include access points, routers, residential gateways and CPEs.
