Modelithics and Mini-Circuits have developed 14 new, high-accuracy substrate amplifier simulation models for packaged Mini-Circuits amplifiers. Modelithics now offers more than 68 models for more than 130 individual Mini-Circuits components, including amplifiers, filters and splitters.
The new amplifiers models are available free for use with Keysight Technologies’ PathWave Advanced Design System and can be downloaded from the Mini-Circuits MVP page on the Modelithics website. The models are also available to all Modelithics Library customers in the newest version, v20, of the Modelithics COMPLETE Library™ for Keysight ADS.
Free 90-day trials of the Modelithics Mini-Circuits Library are available for other simulation tools through the Modelithics Vendor Partner Program. These include AWR Design Environment/Microwave Office™, Keysight Technologies’ Genesys, Ansys® HFSS™, Sonnet® Suites and Cadence® Virtuoso Spectre RF.
The new models were extracted by measuring broadband S-parameters and noise parameters using a Keysight PNA-X vector network analyzer in a Maury Microwave ultra-fast noise parameter measurement setup.
Larry Dunleavy, president and CEO of Modelithics said, “We have a very long-standing and strong partnership with Mini-Circuits and look forward to continuing to add value with high-accuracy design models that help accelerate design decisions for their customers.”
Ted Heil, president of Mini-Circuits said, “We’re excited to continue growing our collaboration with Modelithics to offer more of the best design resources available to customers using Mini-Circuits products in their applications.”
