The FRACTUS ANTENNAS (NN) team has announced ONE mXTEND™, a new multi-band 5G and cellular IoT antenna booster as tiny as a grain of rice.
The ONE mXTEND antenna booster provides global connectivity, while solving the usual challenge of size: it’s only 7.0 mm x 3.0 mm x 1.0 mm — a volume of just 21 mm³. A single antenna can cover select 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G frequency bands within the range from 824 MHz to 5 GHz.
According to NN, this off-the-shelf antenna booster offers wireless designers the smallest volume antenna for cellular IoT and 5G, in a form factor that can be assembled into any wireless device like any other chip component.
