ETL Systems and its subsidiary company Atlantic Microwave, are working together to provide satellite equipment and RF components to the military market. The companies will be demonstrating SATCOM products and test equipment for the first time together at the Three Counties Defence and Security Expo on July 17.
ETL Systems designs and manufactures a range of RF equipment mainly used for operational satellite communications for a number of verticals, including the defence market. The RF components provided by Atlantic are predominantly deployed in test environments for a variety of satellite applications, such as radar operations.
ETL will be demonstrating solutions for handling and routing RF signals, enabling military customers to manage multiple services and ensure feeds are securely distributed to the correct place. Products on the stand will include the StingRay RF over Fibre 100 series, which has the capacity to house up to 16 x 100 fibre modules and can handle fibre signals up to 10 km. It will also demonstrate the compact 4U Hurricane L-band Matrix, which provides routing for up to 64 L-Band feeds.
Making its 3CDSE debut, Atlantic Microwave will demonstrate a wide range of high performance RF components suitable for military applications. This includes a miniature synthesiser, which enables customers to test satellite performance without having to send live signals over the network.
Atlantic Microwave’s range of test cables and coaxial cable assemblies will also be on display. These robust cables ensure consistency for testing so that they give the same result each time, making it possible to test different equipment and configurations accurately.
Andrew Bond, sales & marketing director, Atlantic Microwave, commented: “It is great to demonstrate how our products can complement each other, and provide our military customers with the tools for seamless transmissions at all times.”
ETL Systems and Atlantic Microwave will be exhibiting on Stand 135 at the Three Counties Defence and Security Expo.
