RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a broad bandwidth, GaN, solid state power amplifier from Aethercomm.

Model Number SSPA 0.020-6.000-70 operates from 20 MHz to 6 GHz and delivers a typical saturated output power of 70 W for broad band T&M, military and commercial applications. Typical small signal gain is 50 to 60 dB with gain flatness of +/-3 dB. Operating from a +28 V supply, this amplifier includes an external DC blanking command that enables and disables the module in less than 25 uSec. Standard features include over/under voltage protection and reverse polarity protection. The SSPA 0.020-6.000-70 is offered in a modular housing that is approximately 5.5 in. x 6.5 in. x 2 in.
