Fairview Microwave Inc. has just introduced a new family of coaxial surge protectors that were developed to protect wired and wireless communications equipment from indirect lightning strikes and power surges.
Fairview Microwave’s 45 new coaxial lightning and surge protectors were designed to be used in Wi-Fi networks, active antenna systems, cellular networks, GPS systems and public safety communications systems.
These new high performance RF coax surge protectors feature VSWR as low as 1.1:1, max power as high as 2 kW, multi-strike capability, low insertion loss and are available with Type-N , 4.3-10 and 7/16 DIN connectors. Furthermore, these new models are CE and RoHS compliant and support frequency ranges from DC to 6 GHz.
