Wide-pull VCXOs
These wide-pull voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO) for use in various phased-lock loop (PLL)-based designs are available from 2 to 200 MHz and have a wider pull range of +/-200 to 300 ppm with good linearity. These sinewave VCXOs are available in small quantities in a through hole package. (Larger quantities are available in a surface-mount package.) Price: from $9 to $35 (10,000), depending on the full specifications of the custom-manufactured part.

YIG Oscillators
The 2 to 6 GHz LoCO (low cost oscillator) was designed to bring the broad tuning range and outstanding phase noise of yttrium-iron-garnet (YIG)-tuned oscillators to commercial applications and utilizes the latest in surface-mount technology. Phase noise is -128 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset. The LoCO offers at a dramatically lower price, all of the performance of a standard YIG oscillator and is available in electromagnet and permanent magnet packages. (Main and FM coils options are available for the permanent magnet.) Analog or digital drivers are also available.

Miniaturized YIG-tuned Oscillator
The model YOM3022 miniaturized YIG-tuned oscillator for synthesizers, spectrum analyzers, sweepers, electronic countermeasure systems, cellular base stations and telecommunications covers a triple octave frequency range of 3.5 to 15 GHz. RF output power is +13 dBm with better linearity than any other standard oscillator of +/-8 MHz. FM noise is 120 dBc at 100 kHz offset and the operating temperature range is from -55° to +95°C. Built for airborne, shipboard and commercial applications, the oscillator can be integrated with an analog device to provide tuning with 0 to 10 V or a 12-bit digital driver if required and offers other various frequencies with similar specifications.

GPS-controlled Frequency and Time Standard
The model FNX-GPS frequency and time standard single-board solution designed specifically for integration into OEM systems fully meets the technical requirements of digital broadcasting networks. Minimum frequency deviations are guaranteed if all transmitters are supplied locally with an accurate standard frequency. The plug-in board provides both required references (precise time and frequency) and generates a 10 MHz standard frequency (three outputs), which is disciplined by the time signals of the GPS satellite system and a 1 pps clock signal. The internal high performance oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) is continuously monitored. Drifts are corrected by the GPS time signals. The FNX-GPS does not require periodic and expensive recalibrations if the frequency error is monitored regularly. Size: 123 mm x 200 mm x 30 mm.

High Frequency VCO
The model VCO690-5800T high frequency VCO generates frequencies from 5700 to 5900 MHz with control voltages from 0.5 to 4.5 V. The unit typically requires 8 mA of current from a 5 V supply voltage. Typical phase noise at 100 kHz offset is -105 dBc/Hz and typical output power is -1 dBm. Second harmonic suppression is -15 dBc (typ) and third harmonic suppression is -20 dBc (typ). The unit is housed in a 0.50" x 0.5"x 0.25" surface-mount, pick-and-place/reflow-compatible package.
