Mesh Generator
The Mesh Generator is a Tecplot add-on that enables users to easily create a variety of two-dimensional computational meshes and build structured, unstructured and hybrid meshes in minutes. Adding Mesh Generator to Tecplot gives users a single system for pre- and post-processing and provides the power to increase productivity by quickly generating computational meshes. Applications for the Mesh Generator include computational fluid dynamics, structural analysis, heat transfer, electromagnetic simulation and reservoir simulation.

Transistor Parameter Extraction Software
The LASIMO large- and small-signal modeling software facilitates the development of large-signal models by simplifying procedures for the extraction of MESFET and high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) model parameters. The designer is provided with a set of proven transistor models as well as the capability to incorporate user-defined models and subsequently modify them as required. Model parameters are optimized to match actual transistors by fitting measured and modeled bias dependence of the device's characteristics.

Antenna Analysis Program
The SuperNEC Version 1.0 hybrid method of moments (MoM)/unified theory of diffraction (UTD) antenna analysis program has been redesigned using object-oriented design and was implemented in C++. Available in both sequential and parallel executions versions, the MoM/UTD hybrid engine features a UTD hybrid at the level of impedance matrix interactions. The output interface allows the user to view two- or three-dimensional polar and rectangular patterns with a structure overlay. The parallel execution version can be installed or an inhomogeneous network of computers lined by TCP/IP running Windows 9X, NT or UNIX. A MATLAB® input interface is also included.

Design Solutions Software
The CRaFT coaxial resonator and filter tool program aids the designer in the selection of ceramic bandpass filters. A key feature of the program includes the actual measured frequency response of a typical filter with six selectable markers to set the desired attenuated frequencies. Mechanical drawings and recommendations on filters that are similar to required specifications also are provided.

Microwave Studio Software
CST Microwave Studio (Version 1.1) software analyzes and designs high speed digital devices. By means of a new SPICE extractor, three-dimensional structures can be described by equivalent SPICE circuits that are derived from real S parameters and not a quasi-static approach. The software also has added an Eigenmode Solver in which a modal analysis of eigenmodes allows for the fast calculation of weak-coupled or high resonant structures. In addition, DXF files now can be read and the automatic healing of invalid three-dimensional models has been significantly improved.
