Horizon House Publications announces the launch of Signal Integrity Journal, a sister publication to Microwave Journal, covering signal integrity, power integrity and EMC/EMI related topics. Signal Integrity Journal will be the first peer reviewed, industry journal to cover these markets. Signal Integrity Journal is initially launching as a website, www.signalintegrityjournal.com, and plans to start publication of the periodical journal in 2017. The website is now available as a beta version with content being added quickly for full release shortly.
Industry icon, Eric Bogatin, Dean of Teledyne LeCroy’s Signal Integrity Academy, will serve as editor and help review the contributed articles to bring the highest quality content to the readers. Eric Bogatin said, “One of the biggest problems we engineers face today is information overload. It’s not that we can’t find the information we want online. It’s that we find too much and the signal to noise ratio of what we find is really low. The vision for the SI Journal is to increase the signal to noise ratio for SI, PI and EMC engineers by providing high value content.” He also commented on the industry saying, “The barriers between what are signal integrity, power integrity and electromagnetic compliance engineering are blurring. This makes it sometimes difficult to neatly parse a problem into just one of these fields. Having one resource that covers all three disciplines means problems and solutions can be addressed holistically.”
Signal Integrity Journal will follow the same editorial standards and procedures as Microwave Journal publishing high quality, educational technical articles from industry experts and companies involved in related industries.
