RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for the API Weinschel 7006-1 DC block. The 7006-1 is an ‘inside’ DC block containing capacitance in-series with the center conductor to prevent the flow of DC current while permitting RF power to flow uninterrupted.

The 7006-1 passes RF from 9 kHz to 20 GHz with an SWR of 1.3:1. API Weinschel rates the power handling at 20 W averages and 100 W peak. Maximum DC voltage is 50 V.

The SMA male, SMA female and component body are stainless steel for rugged use. Applications include DC isolation in systems where DC current incident on an RF transmission line may affect sensitive equipment, such as transmission line analysis, or protection from DC voltages improperly biasing active devices.
