CTT Inc., a technology leader in the design and production of solid-state microwave amplifiers for use in electronic defense, industrial and commercial communications, announced the receipt of the 4-Star Supplier Excellence Award from Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). The 4-Star Supplier Excellence award was presented to CTT at Raytheon’s Operational Excellence Supplier Conference on June 7, 2016, in Danvers, Massachusetts. The award recognizes suppliers that consistently deliver outstanding service and partnership in exceeding customer requirements.

This year there were more than 3,000 candidates, and only 159 suppliers received an Operational Excellence Supplier Award, placing CTT in the top 5% of eligible nominees. Award candidates were judged on product quality, on-time delivery, and exceptional performance. To qualify for the 4-Star Award, suppliers had to ensure zero defects and a on-time delivery of at least 97.5 percent for a minimum of ten shipments over at least one year. This award was for products delivered to Raytheon during 2015.

Upon accepting the prestigious award David Tai, CTT’s president, commented, “This award represents the outstanding efforts by the employees of CTT working as a team to meet Raytheon’s quality standards, on-time delivery, process improvement initiatives and safety standards.” Fewer than 3% of Raytheon’s global suppliers achieve a 4 or 5 star status. “Being awarded a 4-Star rating by Raytheon, as CTT celebrates its 35th Year Anniversary, is an honor and a tribute to the company’s history of commitment to Quality, Performance, Service and On-Time Delivery of our products” stated Tai.
