Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that during its second quarter of fiscal 2016, its New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., received multiple orders totaling approximately $2.2 million for broadband, solid-state, high-power RF microwave amplifier systems from an international OEM.
The amplifier systems, which include the latest broadband solid-state switching and transistor technology, provide for very broad frequency coverage and will be utilized as part of communications jamming systems.
In commenting on this contract award, Dr. Stanton Sloane, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, "This follow-on order clearly demonstrates our continued leadership position in communications jamming technology and the ongoing need for our high-power broadband amplifiers which are utilized in major electronic warfare applications both domestically and internationally.
