Previous to this breakthrough, engineers were limited to specifying capacitor assemblies that typically utilized a high lead based solder to attach the leads to the capacitors.
PPI has qualified this lead free solder option to enable engineers to design 100% RoHS compliant capacitor assemblies, supporting the increasing demands for 100% lead free products.
Now engineers can specify a Passive Plus capacitor assembly that is 100% lead free, eliminating the need for an exemption.
