Wireless Base Station Delay Lines
The LL series delay lines are designed for wireless base stations and are typically configured with circular coils that allow connectors to be located easily through relaxation of the coil. This method reduces manufacturing cost and complexity by eliminating the need for invasive length-compensating service loops. The assembly has a low loss microporous polytetrafluoroethylene dielectric with high electrical stability and eliminates the need to compensate within the system for changes in electrical phase length. The units operate from DC to 26.5 GHz and are available for typical base station applications from 800 MHz to 2.5 GHz. Typical delay times range from 15 to 75 ns and phase stability is maintained from 0° to +80°C. The units are available with SMA, MCX, 2MCX, GPO and other connectors in cable diameters of 0.047" to 0.250".
