Dow-Key Microwave is launching a new RF/microwave switch product line for the ATE market with 10 million life cycles and 0.03 dB insertion loss repeatability; starting with SPDT switches. In the aerospace section, Dow-Key is introducing their latest C-switch; lightweight and with low insertion loss.
Dow-Key’s new switch product line, Reliant Switches™, is designed for ATE applications with insertion loss repeatability of 0.03 dB from DC through 26.5 GHz and with a guaranteed minimum operating life of 10 million life cycles. Currently, SPDT non-terminated and terminated solution with TTL or non-TTL control are available; SP6T multi-positions switches will be coming soon. It’s available with latching self cut-off actuator and 12V dc or 24 Vdc coil voltages, SMA female connectors and with optical indicators. The switch design handles up to 125W CW RF power and is rated with a minimum isolation of 85 dB at 4 GHz.
Since 1970’s Dow-Key has taken pride in supplying Space Qualified switches and assemblies to the world’s premier manufacturers of satellites and launch vehicles. The latest innovation includes the lightweight (less than 55 grams) C-Type coaxial transfer switch 411HQ series, which is capable to operate from DC-34 GHz with Insertion Loss of 0.55 dB maximum. The ruggedized design of the actuator allows the unit to operate under any harsh environments. The design is fully qualified for Space applications and is flight mission ready.
