Passive Plus, Inc., (PPI) in another industry first, now provides all of its leaded capacitors with a clear conformal coating.  This conformal coating serves to protect the capacitor surface from contaminants, thereby minimizing the chances of an arc-over.

As an option, if customer requires, PPI can also supply leaded capacitors without the conformal coating.
