Zentech Manufacturing, an electronics contract manufacturing services company based in Baltimore, Md, will be exhibiting at the upcoming IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS) which will be taking place at the Phoenix Convention Center May 19-22, 2015. Zentech offers fully integrated supply chain solutions for high tech/high reliability markets which include defense, mil/aero, RF and microwave, medical and space industries. This narrow focus makes IMS an ideal marketplace in which to feature their products and services.
In addition to hosting a booth at IMS, Zentech will also be offering a brief technical presentation on Thursday, May 21 at 1:50 p.m., in the Micro Apps Theater, which is located on the showroom floor. The presentation will be given by Jay Colognori, MSEE and director of business development for Zentech. Colognori is a defense and mil/aero applications expert—many of which are RF and microwave related. (UAVs, RADAR, communications and satellite)
“The Zentech team is coming to IMS with a clear sense of intention and an undeniable value proposition for the RF and microwave community,” said John Vaughn, VP of sales and marketing and Zentech stakeholder. “In addition to having our best mil/aero specialist (and MSEE) Jay Colognori joining us at IMS, we will also have Judy Warner, who has deep ties to the RF/microwave community and understands this market better than anyone on our team. Of course, I will also be there along with our president Matt Turpin.” Vaughn continued, “We are pulling out all the stops and bringing our “A” team. We are fully prepared to “stand and deliver” to a market that is often hard-pressed to find able, consistent and reliable EMS partners. Their challenges are very real and complex and we know how to face those challenges head on--because we do it every day.”
In conjunction with the MicroApps presentation given by Jay Colognori, Zentech has authored a White Paper entitled “Reliability Issues with RF Circuits Influenced by Design and Manufacturing Processes,” which is especially relevant for IMS participants. It is available on Microwave Journal's website in the white paper section at: http://www.microwavejournal.com/files/topic/3361-white-papers.
