GaAs IC Transfer Switch
The model AS127-59 GaAs IC four-port transfer switch is designed to combine transmit/receive and antenna changeover switching capability in one device. The switch offers a reduction in size and weight because it operates without a duplexer. The unit offers high linearity, which reduces the rejection requirements of filters, and delivers low insertion loss, translating into longer talk time and less power requirements. The switch has control voltages of 0/5 V and is suitable for applications that require low power consumption. The model offers high performance up to 2 GHz and is designed for dual-band applications.

Temperature and Power Sensing Terminations
These temperature and power sensing terminations are designed for applications where steady-state power dissipation cannot be tolerated. The terminations incorporate a thermistor temperature sensor that provides a variable resistance to ground that is proportional to the film temperature of the termination resistance element. In many applications, the terminations can replace more complicated designs using directional couplers and termination or high value (20 and 30 dB) attenuators to terminate an RF signal and provide a low level proportional signal to a diode detector. The high level output from the thermistor sensor also provides greater noise immunity than a low level output from a diode detector.
