RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a fully integrated, 50 ohm digital variable gain amplifier from TriQuint. The TQC9312 combines an amplifier + DSA + amplifier into a module that includes matching circuits, bias chokes, bypass and blocking capacitors making the TQC9312 a drop-in solution requiring no external components.

The TriQuint TQC9312’s internal digital step attenuator is a 6-bit, 0.5 LSB device providing 31.5 dB of attenuation range. P1 dB is greater than 1/2 W with 40 dB of gain. Running off a 5 V bias and drawing 285 mA, this TriQuint DVGA is housed in a 6 x6 mm package.
