Anritsu will demonstrate two contrasting series of vector network analysers (VNAs) at its stand 107 at European Microwave Week 2014, October 7-9 in Rome, Italy.
The VectorStar series offers extreme high performance suitable for use in leading-edge research establishments, as well as in the development of microwave devices used in communications, aerospace, military, security and industrial equipment. The single-sweep measurement capability of VectorStar VNAs offers the world’s widest span, at 70kHz-145GHz., and a broadband millimetre-wave system will be shown integrated with a probe station, highlighting its compact form factor and ease of use. Visitors to European Microwave Week will also be able to see high-performance pulse analysis being performed, at a resolution of as little as 2.5 ns.
At the value end of the VNA market, the new ShockLine series of VNAs will also be on view at the exhibition. The first PC-controlled VNAs to be designed for rack mounting on the production line, the ShockLine series offers the best price/performance combination for passive component testing of any VNAs on the market. In a joint demonstration with RWTH Aachen, Anritsu will also show how ShockLine VNAs can be used to perform near-field antenna measurements and measurements of material properties.
Also at European Microwave Week, Anritsu will have the MS2830A spectrum analyser on display, showing the use of its built-in signal generator in the capture and replay of live waveforms. The MS2830A will also create and analyse 100MHz-bandwidth 5G waveforms using FBMC modulation.
The newly introduced S820E portable microwave antenna analyser will also be on display. This new addition to the famous SiteMaster family offers the highest performance and best usability of any instrument for the installation and testing of microwave cables and antennas. Also on view will be the MS2720T handheld spectrum analyser and S412E with TETRA measurement capability, to highlight the broad range of handheld microwave measurement tools for field use that are suitable for the toughest physical demands and measurement specifications.
