RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for Peregrine Semiconductor’s PE42424, a SPDT switch operating from 100 MHz to 6 GHz. The PE42424 uses Peregrine’s HaRP technology to create a 50 ohm, reflective switch for high power, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac applications. Handling up to 8 W of transmit power, the PE42424 supports switching applications for outdoor Wi-Fi access points or WiFi enabled small cells.

A fast switching speed of 145 ns enables higher throughput and data rates.  Port-to-port isolation of up to 48dB reduces signal leakage. Peregrine offers this switch in a 1.5 x 1.5 mm package without the need for external DC blocking caps providing reduced board space requirements and greater design flexibility. The PE42424 operates in harsh environments up to 105 degrees Celsius.
