As a result of the acquisition of EM Software & Systems - S.A. by Altair, the company has gained a local presence in Stellenbosch, South Africa with tremendous depth of industry expertise. EMSS is the maker of FEKO® electromagnetic field analysis software, which is now becoming part of Altair’s computer-aided engineering (CAE) suite HyperWorks®. Personnel in Stellenbosch will be responsible for all sales and support activities in the region.

Apart from several modelling and visualization products, HyperWorks offers analysis and optimization for structural analysis and lightweight design, computational fluid dynamics, multi-body system performance, manufacturing process simulations for metal and polymer extrusion, sheet metal forming simulation, and more.
