Richardson RFPD Inc. announced the availability and full design support capabilities for two new 2.5W power amplifier modules from TriQuint.

The TQP2451 and TQP2453 are fully integrated, surface mount, three-stage PA modules that are internally matched to 50? input and output and require minimal external components. The devices incorporate a Doherty final stage, delivering high power added efficiency (PAE) for the entire module at 2.5W average power.

They are compact in size, with relatively small footprints, and support multi-mode and multi-carrier signals. The modules include InGaP/GaAs HBT device technology that provides a combination of high efficiency and digital pre-distortion (DPD) friendliness. They are ideally suited for small cell base station and repeater applications, with 1W RMS at the antenna.
