Teseq’s calibration laboratory in Beijing, China, is the first accredited EMC calibration lab in China for the AMETEK Compliance Test Solutions group, which now maintains nine calibration facilities worldwide for the calibration of EMC equipment.
As part of AMETEK Compliance Test Solutions, Teseq officially received their ISO 17025 accreditation for calibration of the main conducted pulses by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation, A2LA. This accreditation is granted for the following calibrations:
ESD Simulators per IEC 61000-4-2, EFT Simulators per IEC 61000-4-4, Surge Simulators per IEC 61000-4-5, Ring Wave Simulators per IEC 61000-4-12 and PQT Simulators per IEC 61000-4-11.
Teseq’s production facilities in Switzerland, Germany and the United Kingdom are accredited by SCS, DAkkS and UKAS respectively and the sales and support offices in USA, Singapore and Japan are already accredited for calibration services by A2LA.
Taken from the standard's own introduction, ISO/IEC 17025 is an international standard that contains all of the requirements that testing and calibration laboratories have to meet if they wish to demonstrate that they operate a management system are technically competent, and are able to generate technically valid results.
The accreditation of the local calibration laboratory in China shows AMETEK’s Compliance Test Solutions commitment to provide an exceptional level of support to customers, and wherever possible to offer these services in the local regions and languages of the customers. Calibration for other manufacturer's equipment may also be possible.
