At the recent Global Certification Forum (GCF) meeting in Suwon, Korea, Anite announced that its Conformance Toolset for protocol and performance testing supports the highest number of validated protocol conformance test cases for TD-LTE.
As the world’s largest mobile operator is set to launch commercial TD-LTE services in China and other major mobile operators across the globe are in the process of deploying their TD-LTE networks, the Time Division Duplex (TDD) variant of LTE is increasing in importance. Anite’s support for TD-LTE includes all of the immediate requirements such as TD-SCDMA and GSM inter-RAT, TD-LTE inter-band and LTE TDD/FDD inter-mode testing. The Conformance Toolset also supports future requirements such as TD-LTE support for LTE-Advanced Carrier Aggregation and VoLTE
Anite has submitted over two thirds of the initial LTE test case verifications to 3GPP RAN5 and has been consistently recognised as the leading platform for GCF- validated and PTCRB-validated LTE protocol test cases since the start of LTE test case validation in 2010. The Conformance Toolset also offers leading support for LTE FDD protocol conformance testing requirements.
“Anite’s Conformance Toolset is recognised by device and chipset manufacturers as well as independent laboratories across the globe for its ease of use and reliable test results”, said Paul Beaver, Products Director at Anite. He continued, “Anite’s commitment to the growing TD-LTE device ecosystem highlights its position as a trusted development partner”.
