RFMW, Ltd. announces design, sales support and availability of TriQuint Semiconductor’s TAT8804D1H ultra-linear GaAs amplifier MMIC intended for output stage amplification in CATV infrastructure applications where flat gain and low distortion are key considerations.

This 12 V power doubler features 21 dB gain at 1200 MHz with a P1 dB of 34 dBm. The TAT8804D1H high gain allows it to replace two existing competitor’s amplifiers thereby reducing part count, board space and overall BOM cost while reducing power dissipation by up to 30%.

TriQuint’s TAT8804D1H comes in a 40-pin, 5x7mm QFN package.
