Lime Microsystems has signed a deal with Interlligent RF & MW Solutions to use the company's latest test and measurement technology in the development of its field programmable RF (FPRF) transceiver ICs.
Lime will use Interlligent to further its development of software configurable transceivers. Its current LMS6002D FPRF transceiver operates on all variants of existing mobile communication standards (2G, 3G, LTE, WiMAX) and frequencies (0.3 to 3.8 GHz). Applications range from small cell base stations to military radio, which require stringent performance and reliability requirements.
Interlligent, which is a key supplier of high quality test equipment and is claimed to have a unique knowledge base in the fields of RF and microwave, will ship an entire suite of test equipment, including Signal generators, Network, Spectrum and Logic analyzers to Lime and provide on-going support.
“We were the first transceiver supplier to provide a truly flexible solution to the market, and test and measurement is therefore of utmost importance to us. We need a reliable partner that supports our innovation and Interlligent's exceptional knowledge of RF and related tests, coupled with their extensive infrastructure for support made them a natural choice,” said Ebrahim Bushehri, CEO of Lime Microsystems.
“We’re delighted to partner with a technology leader such as Lime Microsystems in providing a one stop shop for their entire test and measurement needs’ said Oren Hagai CEO of Interlligent. “We have an exceptionally high quality RF application engineers on hand for a speedy response to the needs of advanced customers such as Lime.”
