Link Microtek, a specialist manufacturer and supplier of RF and microwave subsystems and components, has strengthened its engineering division with the appointment of Eddie Ahn as microwave design engineer.
He joins the company after having completed an MSc in microwave engineering and wireless subsystems design at the University of Surrey. Prior to that, he was employed as an antenna engineer by LG Mobile, where he was responsible for the design of antennas for new mobile phone products.
In his new position with Link Microtek, Eddie will be involved in both design and testing of the diverse range of microwave components that the company manufactures at its premises in the centre of Basingstoke, including rotary joints, antennas, filters, power dividers and OMTs (ortho-mode transducers).
