The Microwave & RF Exhibition that took place at Porte de Versailles, Paris from 3 to 5 April showcased products and services in the RF, microwave, wireless and fibre optic sectors. Exhibitors included well known names such as Aeroflex, AR, Cobham Microwave, CST, Mician, National Instruments and Spinner. There was also a local flavour with companies such as Axon’ Cable, Diconex and Meusonic to name a few, while the microwave antenna manufacturer Itelite represented Poland.
A series of conferences and workshops ran alongside the exhibition. Subjects covered included GaN, RF and microwave instrumentation, measurement in reverberation chambers, coaxial cables and cords and design techniques for RF and microwave antennas. In the EM field issues considered included the design from the component to the system, applied to RF fields and EMC, the simulation of EMC, the biological effects of EM fields and regulations and EMC for military systems. Seminars also considered technological trends and future developments.
The second edition of the Radio Forum ran in conjunction with the Microwave & RF exhibition. The complementary show has the patronage of the French professional radio association (GPRP) and the National Union of Radio Installers (NRS). It is dedicated to users of radiocommunication, be they professionals, private companies or local authorities.
