M2 Global Technology Ltd. is a supplier of passive microwave components. The company specializes in the design and manufacture of radio frequency circulators and isolators. These small devices determine signal direction in microwave transmitters and receivers. M2 Global's products can be found worldwide in cellular telephone base stations, satellite systems, radar equipment, military weapons systems and medical equipment.
All of M2 Global's employees have been hired locally. In just the past two years, the company has grown from 43 to 67 employees. More hires are anticipated due to M2 Global's selection as a partner in the United States Air Force's Manufacturing Technical Assistance Production Program (MTAPP). As part of this selection, M2 Global is considered one of 90 small business contractors in the US "critical to the war fighting effort."
M2 Global also has formed a strategic alliance with two other MTAPP small business defense contractors, Patterson Machine Inc., Union Grove, AL and Engineered Mechanical Services, Chattanooga, TN. The three companies executed a teaming agreement and are marketed under the name Trilogy Defense Services. Trilogy offers US government and defense contractors the ability to easily and conveniently do business with a single small business supplier. M2 Global is a service-disabled veteran-owned company, Patterson Machine 8(a) small disadvantaged buisness and EMS is woman-owned.
