SAN DIEGO, July 18, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CLV0895A-LF in UHF band. The CLV0895A-LF operates from 750-1040 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-11.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -107 dBc/Hz @ 10KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 30 MHz/V.
The CLV0895A-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 0 dBm at 3.3V DC supply while drawing 15 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85ºC. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -13 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CLV0895A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
