SAN DIEGO, July 18, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CLV0795E-LF in UHF band. The CLV0795E-LF operates from 797-803 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 1-4 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -111 dBc/Hz @ 10KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 18 MHz/V.

The CLV0795E-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of -6.5 dBm at 5V DC supply while drawing 23 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -30º to 85ºC. This VCO features excellent typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -28 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CLV0795E-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
