SYNERGY MICROWAVE CORPORATION releases its new YIG replacement VCO model DCYS300600-5, designed for signal sources operating fundamentally from 3000-6000 MHz and fully overcomes the deficiencies of YIG oscillators in power consumption, microphonic effects, tuning speed, size, EMI, integration with current IC technology and cost. Typical applications for this broadband product are test instruments and radar systems. The DCYS300600-5 is unmatched in performance and value. This product is based on Synergy’s proprietary patented and other patents pending technology, which increases bandwidth, lowers phase noise, responds to fast tuning and highly improves immunity to phase hits. The phase noise is typically –78 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset from the carrier.

The VCO is housed in a surface-mount package measuring 0.5x0.5x0.16 inches (LxWxH), RoHs compliant packaging and can be delivered in tape and reel for automatic assembly processes.
