AR’s RF power amplifier offerings include 2 families that over DC – 1000 MHz and 1 – 10,000 watts and are ideal for RF and EMC testing. The A series covers DC – 250 MHz and 25 – 10,000 watts, while the W series covers DC – 1000 MHz and 1 – 4000 watts.
The high power W series amplifiers are configured to be upgradeable and allows users to add power as needed to existing amps as needed. One example is our 1000 watt amplifier that is configured to be used as a sub-amplifier in a 2000-watt, 3000-watt or 4000-watt higher power amplifier. It can be added to in an incremental fashion to become a part of these higher power units yet still be used as a stand-alone 1000 watt amplifier.
Typical applications for these amplifiers include: RF susceptibility testing, antenna and component testing, watt meter calibration, particle accelerators, plasma generation, communications and used as a driver for higher power amplifiers.
