Die & SMT I/Q Mixers feature Wide IF Bandwidth
Chelmsford, MA – November 27, 2007 – Hittite Microwave Corporation, the world class supplier of complete MMIC based solutions for communication & military markets, announces the release of two passive GaAs MESFET I/Q mixers for use in point - to - point radio, WiMAX infrastructure, test equipment and military applications from 3 to 7 GHz. The HMC620LC4 is a passive I/Q Mixer/IRM that provides 32 dB of image rejection, 43 dB of LO to RF isolation and a consistent +22 dBm of input IP3 across the frequency range of 3 to 7GHz. This dual double-balanced mixer integrated circuit is carefully designed to ensure exceptional amplitude and phase balance while limiting the conversion loss to a nominal 8 dB. The HMC620 is a compact chip mixer that operates over same frequency range and delivers 33 dB of Image rejection, 45 dB of LO to RF isolation and +23 dBm of input IP3. Both mixers feature exceptional IF Bandwidth of DC-3.5 GHz and can be used as either image reject mixers or single sideband upconverters. The HMC620LC4 is conveniently housed in 4x4 mm RoHS compliant surface mount package and specified for operation over -40°C to +85°C. For Hybrid MIC and MCM assembly, the HMC620 die is available and specified for operation over the -55°C to +85°C temperature range. Die, SMT and evaluation PC boards are available from stock and can be ordered via the company’s e-commerce site or via direct purchase order. Released data sheets are available on-line at www.hittite.com.
