Hittite Microwave Corporation, the world class supplier of complete MMIC based solutions for communication & military markets, has introduced twelve new low insertion loss 5-bit and 6-bit MMIC Digital Phase Shifters which are ideal for EW receivers, radar, satellite communications, and beamforming modules from 2.5 to 18.5 GHz. The HMC644 is a 5-bit Digital Phase Shifter MMIC chip which is rated from 15 to 18.5 GHz, and provides 360 degrees of phase shift in steps of 11.25 degrees. The HMC644 exhibits only 6.5 dB insertion loss, and a high +40 dBm input IP3. The HMC647 is a 6-bit Digital Phase Shifter MMIC chip which is rated from 2.5 to 3.1 GHz, and provides 360 degrees of phase shift in steps of 5.6 degrees. The HMC647 is controlled with 0/+5V control levels, and exhibits a phase error of only 1 degree RMS. The HMC648 is a 6-bit Digital Phase Shifter MMIC chip which is rated from 2.9 to 3.9 GHz, and is controlled with a single 0/+5V control line per bit. The HMC648 exhibits a phase error of only 1.5 degrees RMS, and insertion loss of 4 dB. The HMC649 is a 6-bit Digital Phase Shifter MMIC chip which is rated from 3 to 6 GHz, and is ideal for applications in WiMAX/4G and fixed wireless. The HMC649 is controlled by a single positive control line per bit, and delivers high IP3 of +44 dBm, and low phase error of 3 degrees RMS. The HMC643 is a 6-bit Digital Phase Shifter MMIC chip which is rated from 9 to 12 GHz, and is ideal for phase cancellation and phased array applications in Military, EW, and ECM. The HMC643 exhibits a low phase error of only 3.5 degrees RMS, with only +/- 0.6 dB of insertion loss variation across all phase states. The HMC642 is a 6-bit Digital Phase Shifter MMIC chip which is rated from 9 to 12.5 GHz, and is controlled by a single positive control line per bit. The HMC642 exhibits a high input IP3 of +41 dBm with only 2.5 degrees of RMS phase error. Each of these Digital Phase Shifter products are also available in RoHS compliant, surface mount packages as the HMC644LC5, HMC647LP6E, HMC648LP6E, HMC649LP6E, HMC643LC5 and the HMC642LC5.
