Connectorized Low Noise Amplifier Module Covers 1.8 to 4.2 GHz
Hittite Microwave Corporation, the world class supplier of complete MMIC based solutions for communication & military markets, has introduced a new connectorized GaAs MMIC Low Noise Amplifier Module, which uniquely combines the attributes of high gain, high output IP3, and high P1 dB output power with a 0.7 dB noise figure, making it ideal for high performance telecommunications, scientific, military, space and test equipment applications from 1.8 to 4.2 GHz. The HMC-C045 Low Noise Amplifier Module operates from 1.8 to 4.2 GHz, provides 26 dB of gain, and up to +26 dBm output IP3 and +15.5 dBm of output power at 1 dB compression, while operating from a single positive supply between +8V and +15V. Rated for operation over the -55°C to +85°C temperature range, the HMC-C045 is also ideal for microwave radio applications, providing an impressive 0.7 dB noise figure at 2.4 GHz. The I/Os of the HMC-C045 are internally matched to 50 Ohms and DC blocked. The HMC-C045 amplifier module offers a more reliable solution to open hybrid assemblies, features removable SMA connectors for drop-in microstrip and coplanar circuit applications, and can be up-screened for military and space end-use. The HMC-C045 Low Noise Amplifier Module complements Hittite’s broad range of high performance amplifiers, is packaged in a C-10 (41.66 x 27.59 x 8.50 mm) hermetic module, and is available from stock.
