Chuck Bland recruited to focus on business execution as company continues to grow
Lowell, MA (USA) - June 9 - M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. (M/A-COM Tech), a leading supplier of semiconductors, components, and subassemblies for use in RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave applications, recently announced that it has created the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) to establish a sharper focus on business execution as the company continues to grow. Further, they have recruited Chuck Bland to this position. As COO, Chuck assumes responsibility for M/A-COM Tech's business areas as well as operations. He reports to Chief Executive Officer Joseph G. Thomas, Jr.
Chuck has had significant experience in the industry, having held multiple executive positions--including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, President and CEO. He has worked at technology-based companies, such as Owens Corning, Quark Software, Vari-L, and Sirenza Microdevices. Chuck has held executive level responsibilities for businesses in start ups as well as larger corporations. His broad experience in companies that have gone public will also prove to be very beneficial to M/A-COM Tech in the future.
